Geogradient Fingering Weight Yarn Set

Set of 4 Yarns

These handdyed fingering weight yarn sets are especially dyed and curated to knit and participate in the “West knits MKAL” shawl. The West MKAL starts on October 5th with the first clue, then weekly clues until the 4th and last pattern clue is released on October 26th.
The IxCHeL geogradient yarn set you purchase here does NOT include the pattern of the knit along shawl, but you can purchase that separately from westknits.com or by going to Ravelry and adding it to your library there.

Of course you can use any shawl or jumper pattern you like that calls for 4 skeins of fingering weight/sock weight yarn. I thought it would be great to offer you my interpretation on geogradient theme.
One of the sets offers minimal speckling, all the others are solids and semi solid colours.

Earth: Ambers, earth ochre reds and deep burgundy

Forest: Absinthe to deep forest greens.

Sky: Wispy summer mornings to sunny skies to deep dark night sky.

Ocean: Inviting Pacific Ocean green/blues to dark deep ocean blue.

Wonderland: Light pink to dark raspberry camellia flower pinks.

Magic Coven: Surprising beige with minimal purple and pink speckles, lavender with sparsely placed purple speckling, warm Iris purple, dark witchy purple.

Witchcraft: a speckled purple/raspberry and greys, combined with an absinthe green, a raspberry pink and a deep witchy purple

The IxCHeL fingering weight sock yarn is spun exclusively for IxCHeL in Victoria, Australia.

A very versatile yarn: it is soft and springy with a lovely drape for jumpers, scarves and shawls.

Weight per kit: 4 x 100+grams / 4 x 3.6oz

Contents: Superwash Superfine Merino 75%, Nylon 20%, Mulberry Silk 5%.

(The IxCHeL fingering weight yarn has approx. 410 metres / 448 yards per 100g.)

Suggested needle size: 2mm-3.25mm US 0-3

Hand or machine wash in cool water with delicate wool wash. Dry in shade.
