Precious Blend Fibre Tops with Guanaco

A unique and super soft IxCHeL rare breed adventure blend top!

This blend with guanaco, bison, baby camel, yak, 15micron merino, mulberry silk, cashmere and  Tencel is so soft and luscious I had to name it “precious”, like the “Ring that binds us all“ from Tolkien’s “Lord of the Rings”… As soon as you have it in your hands and feel it, you may hear yourself uncontrollably whispering “preciousssssss”  like Gollum did 😜

Guanaco fibre is particularly prized for its soft, warm feel. The Guanaco's soft wool is valued second only to that of the Vicuña. The Guanaco is double-coated with coarse guard hairs and a soft undercoat, which is about 16-18 micron in diameter and comparable to the best cashmere. Only the super soft undercoat is used in this blend.

This luxurious top is a blended top which pretty easy to draft and spin. Also suitable to felt with, using a base of prefelt, merino or Paj Silk for your Nuno felting creations.

Contents: 15micron merino 20%, Guanaco 20%, Bison 10%, Yak 10%, baby Camel 20%, Mulberry Silk 10%, Cashmere 10%.
