Wrist Distaff's are made by Lair of the Bearded Dragon (LotBD) from Various Timbers; the strap is made from leather along with a little sliding wooden bead to hold the distaff in place. 

A Wrist Distaff is a place to hold your fibre while you spin on a Spindle. Using one of these also helps to avoid felting your fibre while spinning when holding the fibre in your hand too tightly!

We use a variety of timbers and coloured leather straps and beads for these Wrist Distaffs. Each will vary slightly in weight and length but all generally are about 135/140 mm long, 9/12 mm wide and 8/12 grams in weight.  Please check individual photos for further details about the Distaff's available and refer to the drop down menu.
