A super luxurious blend for spinning and felting.

The Vampire Deer is also known as water deer (Hydropotes inermis) and is a small deer, more similar to a musk deer than a true deer. Native to China and Korea, but now also in the UK near the Lake District, since a few apparently escaped from a Zoo a long time ago.  There is a sustainable way of keeping this breed alive: fibre. It may not be much you can harvest off one deer (only about 450 gms per year) and the hair/down is pretty short, but it is extremely soft, rivalling the rare Guanaco and Vicuña.

There is only a very limited amount available, which was carefully hand blended into this exclusive IxCHeL luxury, rare breed top.
