The IxCHeL tweed is a fingering, 4ply weight yarn which is super versatile : you can knit great looking colourwork or fair isle, double knit, mosaic knit or just plain knitted jumpers, shawls, mitts, hats and cowls with this yarn. It is super soft, easy to handle and fabulous to wear.

The colour combinations are endless! There are a multitude of colour work or double knit patterns available on Ravelry for literally years of knitting fun!

Contents: Lambswool 70%, Kid Mohair 30%

approx. 200 metres / 218 yards per skein

Fingering / 4 ply weight

Single yarn construction, woollen spun

Suggested needle size: 3 mm/US2 - 4 mm/US6.

This gorgeous Merino Kid Mohair Tweed yarn is most suitable for use as a 4 ply fingering to sport weight yarn for knitting, crochet or weaving or machine knitting.

It’s my “go to yarn”  for fair isle and colour work knitting, especially when working in the round and steeking !

This Tweed yarn has a beautiful soft handle and great for close to skin wear.  It has a fabulous colour intensity, colourful fun flecks of colour and a light, beautiful drape.

Gentle hand wash in cool water. Rinse and dry in shade.
