Merino Tencel Silk Fibre Tops

This is a fabulous blend: dramatic black Merino streaks combined with superfine white Merino, blended with luscious silk, then blended once with Tencel to create a pearly river running through the entirety of the top.

It looks great in it’s natural undyed state, but hand dyed, it takes it to another level! Spinning this top, because the different fibres are only blended together twice, will create a yarn with more contrast. Great to create art yarns, but you can also draft it in thin strips and have the colours mingle while spinning. The possibilities are endless! Great spinning fun guaranteed ♥️

Great for felting too: the Tencel will create a gorgeous wriggly silk like texture on top of felt.
